MIHĀD is Assia’s final project at Marbella Design Academy: a children’s care facility that reimagines healing through the wisdom of nature.
Inspired by the starfish’s ability to regenerate, this space uses biomimicry to create emotional comfort, resilience, and protection.
The design idea?
“Fluidity through enclosure” — gentle guidance + freedom to move, rest, and heal.
From Japandi warmth and raw industrial touches to soft light, water elements, and sensory spaces (zen garden, hydrotherapy, family zones), this space makes you feel safe.
MIHĀD is where care, nature, and architecture hold space for children to just be.
