“Vibe”, 3rd-year Interior Architecture & Design project by Elena Zahn.
“Cohesion is a perfect metaphor for my concept. Instead of sketching with a pencil, I chose water as my primary design tool. The final structure closely resembles my original sketch, made from three drops of water.
I adjusted the volumes into circles because they unify better than squared spaces, and I wanted the building not to feel separate, but to create a sense of belonging.
I added dome roof lights with rhombus-type shapes to the three empty spaces in order to create areas that could be used in both summer and winter.
