Field Trips in Málaga!
Our 3rd-year Graphic Design & Media students had the pleasure of spending last Friday in Málaga, combining two field trips: ‘travelling’ from the origins of typography to modern-day media.
The 1st stop was the “Antigua Imprenta Del Sur”, established in 1925, and which still publishes using the classical printing press method.
José Andrade, master printer and grandson of the original founder, explained to our students how they still run today, using movable type and metal plates.
