There is something special about Málaga.

Yes, it has the sun, the sea, and the southern Spanish lifestyle we all love. But over the years, it has also become something more: a true cultural hub. And that is exactly why we keep coming back.

This month, our students spent the day exploring two very different museums—each offering a unique window into art and creativity.

– Stop one: Centre Pompidou, Málaga

Right on the water at Muelle 1, with its iconic colourful cube standing out against the Mediterranean blue, we stepped inside for a guided tour of the “To Open Eyes” exhibition.

This exhibition invites us to decenter our perspective. To see art, society, and the world through fresh eyes. It takes you on a free-flowing journey through the major movements that shaped 20th- and 21st-century art, from modern breakthroughs to contemporary works that speak to today’s challenges.

For our students, it reminded them that great art always asks us to look again. To question. To feel.
