Madrid 2022 Fashion Trip
Last week our Fashion Design students travelled to Madrid for a few days to visit several ‘here and now’ Fashion exhibitions, retail companies and shops.
It was a packed trip with visits to:
– EcoAlf, a brand totally dedicated to recycling and eco-sustainability
– The Madrid Costume Museum, which presents the evolution of clothing from the 16th century to the present day.
– The WOW concept store, a recently opened phydigital centre, with its 7 floors of design products and some more traditional fabric shops.
– The Tendam group, one of the principal companies of the fashion industry, founded in 1880 and present in 70 countries.

And, last but not least,
– The Picasso/Chanel temporary exhibition organised by the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum that gathered works from Coco Chanel from all over the world.
We would like to thank EcoAlf / ECOALF and Tendam Global Fashion Retail / Be Tendam for their warm welcome, and for the time they dedicated to sharing their passion for Fashion Design with our students.
