Graphic design field trip, day 2, on our plan: Mucho.

Mucho is an international Brand & Design Agency, with offices located in San Francisco, Melbourne, Paris, and Barcelona. And this is where our students headed on their 2nd day in Barcelona. @wearemucho

The Mucho agency is known for its focus on creativity and global design, with projects ranging from branding to graphic design.
Additionally, they have a team-oriented work philosophy and engage in pro bono projects and educational activities.

We are so thankful to the Mucho team for taking the time to meet our students and explain how a Branding agency operates and what the Mucho philosophy is.

Thank you, Mucho!

2nd visit of the day: L’Automàtica

L’Automàtica is a collective of graphic designers, poets, artists, and illustrators who recovered a typographic printing press in Barcelona and turned it into a self-managed cultural association.

Two Heidelberg Minervas with blades, a semi-automatic Minerva Ibérica, an Ibérica Universal for finishing, a Haas guillotine, more than a hundred sets of lead and wood typefaces, and two GTO 52 offsets.

A space recovered for the city, thirteen people forming a collective… a workshop.

Gerard, our gracious host, treated us to a fantastic masterclass on the art of letterpress printing.

Thank you very much, Gerard—we were truly inspired!
