Last Friday was an unforgettable day for our Fashion Design students, who had the unique opportunity to visit the Mayoral Central Headquarters in Málaga, Spain.
As one of Spain’s leaders in textile fashion, Mayoral welcomed our students warmly and gave them a sneak peek at upcoming projects.
Our students had the chance to see the overall design and production process, from the buying department to tailoring, and even the logistics department and installations.
They were introduced to many different stages of collection development such as mood boards, mannequin fitting tests, pattern creation, and more. Mayoral’s attention to detail was outstanding and left a lasting impression on our students.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Mayoral staff for organising such a fantastic visit, and we hope to bring our first-year students next year for an equally amazing experience.
