The students in this school truly work together and help each other. I have learned so much from my peers here. This school has taught me independance and taught me how to work on my own. I liked how everyone was up for ideas and new ways of doing things."

The Digital Film and Television Production course is an exciting opportunity for students to study Digital film and Television Production in an environment that will offer a location and surroundings including lighting that other Digital Film and Television Production courses are unable to provide. We believe the best way to learn the art of Digital Film and Television Production is to have our students working on creating their own digital films for the majority of the course (at times in groups), whilst still maintaining a high level of tutorial time.
We use the digital format for shooting and editing. This keeps costs down and allows more flexibility. We believe digital is the future and more and more films are being shot using the digital format. The college will provide the equipment, training the students in each of the various Digital Film and Television Production skills. The students will solve problems similar to those faced by professionals with their work being continually assessed over the three terms of the three years. The course is well resourced with professional digital filmmaking equipment for each part of the process from pre-production to delivery of completed films. Resources include professional cameras, two studios with professional AVID editing suites, a sound recording booth and a full audio suite.
At the completion of the three years and after graduation students will have the confidence and ability to pursue an exciting and stimulating career with a professional broadcaster or independent production company.
The course is designed to as well provide students with hands-on experience of the equipment and techniques used in

• Directing,
• Camerawork, (Location and Studio),
• Lighting,
• Sound
• Editing.
• Production Management

All the tutors are professionals within the industry. Please see the staff list.
