The students in this school truly work together and help each other. I have learned so much from my peers here. This school has taught me independance and taught me how to work on my own. I liked how everyone was up for ideas and new ways of doing things."

1st Year 2nd Year
The 1st year has been prepared to provide the students with a basic knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the design process from the brief given, research, sketches, theoretical tuition and lectures within the subjects, presentation technique, technical drawings, Photoshop and Illustrator skills, and the development of the ideas/projects to the final presentation including marketing, such as how to build your own business.
To achieve this, the course content encourages the students to acquire a comprehensive means of expressing their ideas.

The 1st year is orientated toward giving the students professional development before continuing into the 2nd year and to enable the students to experience and develop their own unique vision and to implement their concepts through diverse creative processes. The students will be taught how to explore independently and examine the fundamental principles of communication, encouraging self-motivation and challenging aims and objectives of initiated work.
Course work takes the form of design projects, which require students to research, organize, sketch and then present their projects in a professional way to meet deadlines. Presentations are held and evaluated in front of tutors and fellow students at the end of each project. Portfolios are evaluated and graded at the end of the academic year by the teachers and the external examiners.
Projects are in structured stages, introducing each of the basic skills and knowledge, necessary in all fields of Fashion Design.
Presentation / Catwalk - Students are guided towards a systematic way of presenting finished work to clients. Students are also required to present finished projects with a Catwalk show at the end of each term.
